Oh, someone's on a roll today! What's supposed to be a day to work on our thesis turned out to be my time to blog and blog like the rent is due tomorrow. Hihi.
Anyhoo, I have nothing but pure praise and admiration for Mr. Riccardo Tisci. We should all bow down our heads and say "Hallelujah, Amen, Amen!" to this fashion god. He never fails to keep fashionphiles anticipating for his next move as the creative director of Givenchy and this collection is a complete retrospective view on his seven years at the luxe brand. Inspired by the 1927 Fritz Lang movie Metropolis and Aelita: Queen of Mars, it's all about the art-deco embellishment, bejewelled gowns and nose rings.
